Voters head to the polls

Voters across the Capital District will give their school budgets a thumbs up or thumbs down today.

At Bethlehem Central High School, pictured, poll workers said turnout had been lagging, but by 5:30 p.m. voters were surging through the doors.

Many BC voters said they would be supporting the budget despite a tough year and controversy over a decision to close Clarksville Elementary.

Resident Mark Wolfsberg said he understands many criticisms but still voted yes.

\I support the school system, I think they do a good job with the kids, he said.
