Teal contributed on Bethlehem's second goal five minutes later. The junior sent the ball across from the right wing into the box, and Fetterolf headed the ball past Corsaro for a 2-0 lead.
"Tara had two wonderful assists today," said Rogan. "She had a nice pass ahead to Jackie [Kearney] on the first goal, and then it was a wonderful assist to Autumn."
Liverpool tried to get back in the game, but whether it was goaltender Katie Nickles making one of her nine saves on the afternoon or a goalpost getting in the way -- as it did midway through the second half when Carfi had a second shot ring off the crossbar -- the Warriors couldn't score a goal.
"We knew they were going to be physical, [and] we knew they were going to be solid defensively," said McGrane. "Their goaltender [Nickles] played phenomenally [well]."
Bethlehem advances to Saturday's state semifinal at Homer High School against Section I champion Arlington. The winner of that game meets either MacArthur or Brockport in Sunday's Class AA final at SUNY Cortland.
