— UPDATED: Guilderland police say Okure was located by New Hampshire State Police in Ashfrod, N.H. He was transported to Spear Memorial in Plymoth and his family was notified of the development, according to police.

Guilderland police have put the call out for a missing person who was apparently last known to be in Massachusetts.

Police said Uwana T. Okure, 21, is a University of Albany graduate student but hasn’t been seen at class since Wednesday, Oct. 5.

Police said he was last seen on the morning of Oct. 7, and that family members received a call on Oct. 8 from Okure saying he’d been in a roll over crash in Cambridge, Mass., and was disoriented. Police checked with authorities and hospitals in the area but were unable to unearth any additional information.

Okure was described by police as African American, 5-foot 8-inches tall, 170 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair. He wears glasses.

He was last seen driving a blue 2006 Jeep Liberty with the New York license plate EEV6092.

Anyone with information on Okure’s whereabouts is asked to contact Guilderland police at 356-1501.
