Eagles sweep Mohonasen in league match

The Bethlehem boys volleyball team ran its Suburban Council record to 14-0 with Friday's three-game sweep against Mohonasen.

Sam Powers recorded five service aces for the Eagles, who won by scores of 25-12, 25-13 and 25-9. Mike Marshman had nine kills, and Jasper Marynczak added nine digs on defense.

Mohonasen's record dropped to 1-13.

Girls swimming

The Cietek sisters led the Guilderville girls swim team to a 103-76 victory at Gloversville-Mayfield in Friday's duel meet.

Mackenzie Cietek had victories in the 200-yard individual medley and the 100-yard freestyle, while Kendall Cietek finished first in the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard butterfly for Guilderville.

Kathryn Liotta (diving), Helen Merkley (500-yard freestyle) and Elana DeSantis (100-yard breaststroke) added individual victories for Guilderville.
