The Mekeel Christian Academy boys soccer team clinched the Western Atheltic Conference South Division title with Wednesday's 5-2 victory at Berne-Knox-Westerlo.
Anders Trestick recorded a hat trick to lead the Lions (12-3-0, 24 points). Tai Aderounmu had a goal and two assists, and Kenny Aderounmu added a goal.
The victory coupled with Middleburgh's 2-1 victory over Schoharie gave MCA a six-point lead over Schoharie in the South Division standings with one game remaining.
Boys volleyball
Bethlehem continued its roll through the Suburban Council by beating Colonie 3-0 in Wednesday's boys volleyball match in Delmar.
Mike Marshman's 15 kills led the Eagles (16-0), who defeated the Garnet Raiders by scores of 25-11, 25-20 and 25-17. Jake Abbuhl and Mike Carrk combined for 13 kills, Benji Federman contributed 35 assists and John McCarty added 10 digs.
Nate Krouse had nine kills, Ian Williams chipped in with seven kills and Steve Sleasman added 19 assists for Colonie (12-4).
Girls swimming
Glens Falls defeated Scotia-Glenville 89-74 in Wednesday's girls swimming duel meet in Scotia.
Bri Lydon won the 200-yard freestyle, and Emma Brown finished first in the 100-yard backstroke for the Lady Tartans.
