— “The way it was handed to me, it was just magical,” said Ann Michelle Peters, a Boyz II Men superfan from Watervliet.

Before saying goodnight, the group made an announcement fans have been waiting on for years. On Oct. 24, their new album “Twenty” drops. Named and released in honor of the group’s 20th anniversary, it includes brand new original content and there’s already performances lined up through mid-2012.

As they exited the stage, there was more screaming and probably some crying. Fans reached out long after Boyz II Men disappeared backstage and others clamored to buy a meet and greet pass before they ran out.

So, now you know what the crowd thought of the concert. But what about me?

It was incredible. Sweaty. Exciting. Memorable. Life-changing (yes, even after attending three shows). Overwhelming. And when I was lucky enough to score a spot in the meet and greet (thanks, tour manager Dave) and Wanya pulled me close and Shawn laughed at a story from my best friend. Perfection.
