The Bethlehem girls soccer team wrapped up its regular season Saturday by beating Columbia 4-1 in a Suburban Council South Division game in Delmar.
Tara Teal had her best individual performance on Senior Night for Bethlehem. The senior scored all of the Lady Eagles' goals with assists coming from Autumn Feteroff, Dana Donnelly and Elle Lutz.
Katie Nickles made nine saves in goal for Bethlehem, which wrapped up its regular season with an 11-3-2 record and a second-place finish in the South Division standings.
Bethlehem improved its Suburban Council-best record to 17-0 with Friday's 3-0 sweep of Shaker in a boys volleyball match.
Mike Marshman's 10 kills led the way for the Eagles, who won by scores of 25-6, 25-15 and 25-10. John Sica and John McCarty combined for 12 kills, and Benji Federman added 26 assist.
Shaker's record dropped to 7-10.
Shenendehowa kept pace with Bethlehem for the Suburban Council boys volleyball title after beating Colonie 3-0 Friday in Clifton Park.
Nick Clark had 12 kills, and Brian Sprague contributed 34 assists for the Plainsmen (16-1), who won by scores of 25-21, 25-15 and 25-22. Logan Barbour pitched in with 10 kills, and Joey Feeley added seven kills.
Nate Krouse recorded 11 kills and five blocks for Colonie (12-5). Ian Williams contributed nine kills.
Guilderland used overtime to defeat Shaker 3-2 in Friday's Suburban Council field hockey game.
Cydney Betton scored the game winner in the extra period for the Lady Dutch (3-11). Taylor Tysinski and Hailey Marini also tallied for Guilderland, and goaltender Marisa DeMarzio had five saves.
Hayley Beach and Maggie Muzio each scored a goal for Shaker (2-11), and goaltender Emily Phillips stopped eight shots.
