continued — Mr. Kotary tried to rob the people of Bethlehem from a choice for Town Supervisor when he sought and accepted the Republican and Democratic nominations for this office. Mr. Clarkson entered the race to give the voters a choice and a chance to hear opposing dialogue on the critical issues that the Town of Bethlehem is facing. His opponent was hoping for a “slam dunk” and to enter office without affording the people a clear choice and argument about the many needs and programs of the Town of Bethlehem.
It is sad that Town Conservative Chairman Conboy does not understand the basic principle of the American system of electing our officials is to have a choice. The people will see through the smokescreen and will make their feelings known through the voting ballots.
