Kotary a good steward of Bethlehem

Letter to the editor

We need to make our zoning and planning processes more user-friendly and more business-friendly. And we can find significant savings through shared services. We also need to do a better job of bringing in economic development to better diversify our tax base.

My wife LJ and I chose to raise our three young children in Bethlehem. We love our Saturday morning ritual at the Delmar Farmers Market and spending winter weekends skating at the Elm Ave rink. We do hot summer days at the town pool, fall picnics at the Henry Hudson Park and hit the various ball fields in the spring.

I have worked hard to support, improve, and protect those wonderful community resources because of my belief in the ideals of that Athenian Oath –that as stewards of our community we should do our best to leave it better than it was given to us.

I’m proud to be the endorsed candidate of the Bethlehem Democratic Party and with your vote in the Democratic primary on September 13, and in the general election on November 8, we will preserve our quality of life in Bethlehem for years to come.

Thank you.
