BETHLEHEM — Bethlehem Central High School graduate Kristina Maksuti earned the Atlantic 10 Conference's Co-Rookie of the Week award after scoring two game-winning goals for the Fordham University women's soccer team.
Maksuti tallied in overtime to give Fordham a 4-3 victory over Cornell last Friday, and she had the eventual game winner in a 3-1 win against Delaware State Sunday.
Maksuti has made an immediate impact on the Rams. The freshman leads the team in scoring with four goals and two assists.
Fordham (2-2-1) visits Manhattan Friday and hosts Stony Brook Sunday.
