Hudson Falls edges Scotia in field hockey

Karleigh LaPan's goal wins it for Tigers

— Karleigh LaPan's goal with 9:27 left in the second half gave Hudson Falls a 2-1 victory over Scotia-Glenville in Saturday's Foothills Council field hockey game in Scotia.

The Lady Tartans (0-1) took the lead on Skylar Plemenik's goal midway through the first half off a pass from Sierra Plemenik, but Micaele Heil tied the score at 1 for the Tigers (1-1) 4:47 before halftime.

Hudson Falls' Lindsey Sabo and Scotia's Patricia Haffner each made five saves in goal.
