LATHAM — Shaker pushed Shenendehowa into overtime before the Plainswomen prevailed 1-0 in Friday's Suburban Council field hockey game.
Erin Buckley scored in extra time to give Shen (3-1) the victory.
Shaker goaltender Emily Phillips kept her team in the game. Phillips made 18 saves to lead the Blue Bison (1-3). Shen netminder Melissa Nealon had eight saves.
