Boys volleyball: BC needs four games to beat Colonie

Abbuhl and Carrk combine for 20 kills to lead Eagles

— It took the Bethlehem boys volleyball team four games to defeat Colonie in Wednesday's Suburban Council match.

After winning the first game 25-20, the Eagles (7-0) found themselves on the other side of the ledger as Colonie took the second game 25-23. Bethlehem responded by beating Colonie 25-14 and 25-11 to finish off the 3-1 victory.

Jake Abbuhl and Mike Carrk combined for 20 kills, while Mike Marshman contributed 12 kills for the Eagles. Benji Federman had 32 assists.
