GUILDERLAND — The Guilderland girls soccer team improved its Suburban Council record to 5-1-1 with Saturday's 4-1 victory over South Division rival Columbia.
Laurie Knapp scored the first goal for the Lady Dutch and assisted on the next two for a three-point afternoon. Ali Cardinal and Jess Capone scored off of Knapp's assists. Michaela Maybee had the other Guilderland goal.
Eliza McCue tallied for Columbia, and goaltender Marlee Wacholder stopped 10 shots.
