continued — Akangbou's second-half goal finished off a Shaker fast break that started with a lead pass from Cahalan to Jordan Pierro. Pierro took a shot that Shen goaltender Spencer Junco stopped, but the rebound came to Akangbou and he tapped it into the open net to give the Bison a 2-1 lead.
Shaker had an opportunity to retake the lead after Cavosie tied the score at 2 when Cahalan sent a shot past Junco, but it went wide of the far post. A short time later, Teymouri knocked in the game winner for Shen.
Shaker visits Niskayuna Wednesday, while Shen hosts Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake.
