Girls soccer: Bethlehem cruises past Mohonasen

Teal's hat trick paves the way

— The Bethlehem girls soccer team ended a two-game winless streak with a 5-1 victory over Mohonasen in Monday's Suburban Council South Division game.

Tara Teal had a hat trick, and Jackie Kearney added a pair of goals for the Lady Eagles (4-2-1), who did not have starting goaltender Katie Nickles in the lineup. Emily Venezia made four saves in place of Nickles, who suffered a head injury in last Thursday's scoreless tie against Saratoga Springs.

Celena Maliszewski scored for Mohonasen, while goaltender Samantha McGrath made nine saves.
