The Bethlehem girls swim team won nine of the 12 events to defeat Ballston Spa 96-90 in Tuesday's duel meet in Ballston Spa.
Bethany Powhida, Grace Ayer and Lauren Zemering each won two individual events to lead the Lady Eagles. Powhida took first place in the 200-yard freestyle and the 100-yard butterfly, while Ayer finished first in the 200-yard individual medley and the 100-yard breaststroke. Zemering won the 50- and 100-yard freestyles.
Tara O'Donnell added a victory in the 100-yard backstroke for Bethlehem, which also won the 200-yard medley and 400-yard freestyle relays.
Addison Walkowiak (diving) and Karly Haraden (500-yard freestyle) earned victories for Ballston Spa, as did the Scotties' 200-yard freestyle relay team.
In other girls swimming action, Albany Academy defeated Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk 96-75 in Albany. Savannah Hotaling led RCS with victories in the 200-yard individual medley and 100-yard breaststroke, with Delaney McDonough contributing a win in the 50-yard freestyle. The Indians also won the 200-yard freestyle relay.
