Reader poll
Which Suburban Council baseball team has the best chance to win a Section II title?
- Shaker (defending Class AA champions)
- Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (defending Class A champions)
- Shenendehowa
- Colonie
- Guilderland
44 total votes.
The Suburban Council baseball world is in flux, again. Many teams had to replace key players from last year's teams. That means that the field is wide open.
What we want to know is which of these five contenders have the best chance of carrying the Suburban Council's torch into this year's state playoffs? Last year, Shaker and Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake carried that torch straight into the state finals where BH-BL claimed the Class A title and Shaker came within a run of doing the same in Class AA. Can they do it again, or will one of the other three contenders we've listed for you -- Guilderland, Colonie and Shenendehowa -- be hoisting a Sectional championship plaque in June?
To help you make a decision, check out our Suburban Council baseball preview article here. Voting in this week's poll will carry on until midnight Monday, April 9.
