Thursday round-up: Guilderland boys ease past Bethlehem

Dyer's hat trick leads Dutchmen to victory

The Guilderland boys lacrosse team out-scored Bethlehem 6-1 in the second half to pull away for a 10-4 Suburban Council victory Thursday in Guilderland.

Cody Dyer recorded a hat trick, while Connor Drislane contributed a goal and four assists for the Dutchmen. Patrick Wood and Connor McLachlan each added two goals and two assists.

John Gosstola tallied three times, and goaltender Dan Combs made 18 saves for Bethlehem. Liam Christensen added three assists.


Saratoga Springs ran its overall record to 3-1 with Thursday's 24-3 non-league victory over Duanesburg.

The Blue Streaks scored seven times in the bottom of the second inning and added five runs in the fourth to break the game open.

Wellman Loviza doubled twice as part of a three-hit day and drove in four runs for Saratoga. Kris Muller and Jack Herman also had three hits apiece, and Alex Chandler scored five runs and added three RBI.

Duanesburg's record dipped to 0-4.
