continued The new space would nearly double the amount of seating offered at the diner from 56 to 100 seats. The inside of the restaurant is planned to have a more modern look while keeping some of the feel of the older location. Kyratzis said the counter from the old location was saved. He also plans to add some more menu items.
“We had four of my employees hand walk the countertop from where it was to where it is right now,” Kyratzis said. “We walked the 18-foot countertop down there because it is too big for my truck.”
The rent at the new location would be “considerably much more,” so Kyratzis said the dinner would need to attract more customers. He said seniors would be offered discounts and the diner is planning to offer a discount to local college students.
