The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake baseball team scored four runs in the top of the eighth inning to pull out a 6-2 Suburban Council victory over Bethlehem Friday.
Dan Maynard -- who doubled twice and singled in his first three at-bats -- launched a bases-loaded double in the eighth inning to help the Spartans (3-3) take the lead for good.
Dan Nuzzi pitched a complete game for BH-BL. Nuzzi scattered four hits over eight innings of work.
David Miller had a single and scored a run for Bethlehem (1-4).
In other Suburban Council baseball action Friday, Saratoga Springs scored four runs in the top of the first inning on its way to a 7-1 victory over Mohonasen in Rotterdam.
Kris Muller homered and doubled, and Casey Kerr pitched a five-hitter with nine strikeouts for the Blue Streaks (5-2). Wellman Loviza and Matt Flynn each added a pair of hits.
Mohonasen's overall record dipped to 3-3.
