We're turning our attention from offense to defense for this week's Spotlight Sports poll -- specifically, goaltenders. The Suburban Council has several quality boys lacrosse netminders, but which one is the best? Here are your five choices:
Lucas Carter (Bunrt Hills-Ballston Lake) -- Has 74 saves and a .710 save percentage for the Spartans.
Dan Comber (Bethlehem) -- Only has a .590 save percentage, but he's stopped 128 shots for the Eagles.
Brendan Deady (Colonie) -- Made 89 saves and owns a .580 save percentage in his first year starting for the Garnet Raiders.
Sean Klim (Guilderland) -- A Suburban Council stalwart, Klim has 102 saves and a .620 save percentage in his third year between the pipes.
Evan Quinn (Niskayuna) -- Hasn't faced many shots for the undefeated Silver Warriors (only 48 saves), but has come up big in wins against Shenendehowa, Jamesville-DeWitt and Somers.
Voting will be open until midnight Monday, so cast your vote today.
