Letter: Lions thank tree sale supporters

Editor, The Spotlight:

The Bethlehem Lions Club recently concluded its 25th Annual Christmas Tree Sale. The sale is the club’s major fundraiser for the year and provides support for the purchase of eyeglasses and hearing aids for community residents in need, two scholarships for graduating high school students who are residents of the town, support for the “File of Life” initiative with the Senior Services Office, support for the Lions Eye Institute at Albany, as well as many other projects which enrich the community.

The Bethlehem Lions Club would like to thank the community for their continued support for the sale. Special thanks go to Gould Erectors and Riggers on Route 9W in Glenmont, New York, who has provided the site for the sale each year.

We look forward to many more years of bringing quality Christmas trees to the community at a reasonable price while serving the many and varied needs of the community.

Thanks to all for your support.

Daniel J. Ryan

President, Bethlehem Lions Club
