— All but two officials sworn in this evening had taken an oath for town office before: Clarkson and Councilman Jeffrey Kuhn, who made brief remarks thanking his supporters and family and said he looks forward to getting to work on the Town Board.

Also sworn in were Town Justice Mark Jordan (who is leaving his Town Board seat to take up the position), Councilwoman Joann Dawson, Town Clerk Nanci Moquin, Receiver of Taxes Nancy Mendick and Highway Superintendent Gregg Sagendorph.

Former supervisor Terri Egan presided over the ceremony and also administered several of the oaths of office.

The Bethlehem Town Board's first meeting of the year will be Wednesday, Jan. 11.

Clarkson gave a good speech, Now we know he can talk that talk. Let's see if he can walk that walk! The political testosterone was so thick in the room that you could hardly breath. More of us should pay attention to what goes on with all these folks.
