In apprec-iation of the ongoing support from local residents, Universal Laundromats have also done their part to give back.

When Tropical Storm Irene left many families devastated last year, the company worked with volunteers to set up a laundry service for those in need. As residents in Windham and Prattsville worked to restore their homes, more than 300 loads of laundry were washed for free by the company. Following the storm, they also provided free dry-cleaning service for a prom dress drive held to ensure the traditional rite-of-passage could still be held in those communities.

“We enjoy being involved in this business because of the people and that’s why we continue to work hard to provide a quality experience,” said Aaron.
