Now, let's turn our attention to the high school teams that made life exciting during the 2011-12 season and see who your choice is for team of the year. Your choices in Delmar/Guilderland are:

Bethlehem girls soccer -- Won its fourth consecutive Section II Class AA title and then pushed past the regional round to get to the state semifinals for the first time

Bethlehem boys volleyball -- Won its second straight Sectional title and played in the state tournament

Bethlehem boys tennis -- Edged Guilderland 5-4 to win its second Class A team crown in the last three years and avenge last year's loss to the Dutchmen in the finals

Guilderland girls lacrosse -- Finished the regular season with an undefeated record and reached the Sectional finals before losing to Shaker 9-8

Voorheesville baseball -- Won its first Sectional title and made it as far as the state Class C semifinals
