  • National champions 38%

21 total votes.

In honor of the Union College hockey team's return to the NCAA Tournament, this week's poll asks you how far will the Dutchmen get in the tournament.

As a refresher course, Union went to the NCAA Tournament last year after winning the ECAC's regular season title. Unfortunately for the Dutchmen, their ride ended with a 2-0 loss to eventual national champion Minnesota-Duluth in the first round.

This year, Union has a full head of steam after winning both the ECAC regular season title and the league's post-season tournament. As a result, the NCAA selection committee rewarded the Dutchmen with the No. 1 seed in the East Regional, which starts Friday in Bridgeport, Conn. Union takes on No. 4 Michigan State in the opening round, while the other side of the bracket has No. 2 Miami of Ohio battling No. 3 Massachusetts-Lowell.

Can Union make a deep run in this year's tournament, or will the Dutchmen fall victim to the Michigan State Spartans? Cast your vote in our poll. We'll leave the voting open until midnight Monday or whenever the Dutchmen lose, whichever comes first. Hopefully, we won't have to close the voting early.
