BH-BL’s defense is also loaded with veteran talent with the return of Chase Godfrey, Jason Pahl and Logan Ball.

The one question mark for BH-BL is in goal where Kyle Olson – last year’s starter – is out for the season following shoulder surgery. Junior Lucas Carter and sophomore Ian Reed are the candidates for the starting job.

The Spartans begin their season Wednesday with a non-league game against South Glens Falls. Their first Suburban Council contest is next Tuesday against Saratoga Springs.
