— Colonie police made a swift arrest in a Tuesday, May 1, bank robbery.

Brian D. Sweeney, 36, of 1579 Central Ave. Room 220 was arrested and charged with robbery in the third degree, a felony, and petit larceny, a misdemeanor, for allegedly robbing Citizen's Bank in Northway Mall on Tuesday afternoon, according to police.

At 1:44 p.m. on Tuesday, Colonie police were called to the Citizen's Bank at 1440 Central Ave. for a reported robbery, according to police.
