— "Anne always steps up big in these games," said Smith, who led Shaker's offense with a hat trick.

Treanor finished the afternoon with five goals, and Sexton contributed two goals and an assist for Niskayuna.

"I got some good feeds and just wanted to finish," said Sexton, a freshman. "I was trying to look for anyone open when I had the ball. I didn't want to force a shot. I kept my head up and found Kayla (Treanor) a few times today."

Shaker will have the No. 2 seed for the Section II Class A tournament, while Niskayuna -- the defending Sectional champion -- is the No. 3 seed. Undefeated Guilderland secured the No. 1 seed.
