Thank you for voting in last week's sports poll. This week, we've got our five candidates for the Suburban Council girls lacrosse most valuable player. They are:
Nicole Beardsley (Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) -- Scored 48 goals and dished out 13 assists for the Lady Spartans.
Morgan Hardt (Guilderland) -- The top goal scorer (51 goals) on one of the most prolific offenses in Section II.
Lauren Smith (Shaker) -- Tied for the league lead in points (73), thanks to her propensity for scoring goals (50).
Kayla Treanor (Niskayuna) -- Coming off a sprained ankle she suffered in basketball, the United States junior team member has scored 49 goals and assisted on 24 more for the Silver Warriors.
Kelly Wall (Shenendehowa) -- Scored 50 goals for the up-and-coming Plainswomen.
The poll will remain open until midnight Monday, so cast your votes today. Thank you.
