continued "It might start bringing a sense of tradition to the program," said Griffin of Shaker's first Sectional title. "Hopefully this will inspire a younger generation of players at the school, and they'll want to keep this going."
Meanwhile Shen can look back on a season where it won the Empire Division title for the second consecutive year, and its only two losses came against Shaker.
"It was a goal of ours not only to make it to the Super Bowl, but also to win it," said Clawson, who concluded his first year as head coach after taking over for Brent Steuerwald. "To fall short is a disappointment."
