Two former Sand Creek students find success with photography

— Esmond set up the show at the library, titled “Portraits and Perspectives Through the Lenses of our Cameras,” which lasted throughout September, and had more than seven dozen of the students’ photographs. The students also had their work on display at the Arts Center of the Capital Region Annual “Fence Show” from July to August, where Melas sold two of his photographs. Melas won second place in the 2012 Town of Colonie Photography Contest.

A new show of the students’ work, “Our Town Through the Lenses of our Cameras,” will take place March 1 at Colonie Town Hall in the Supervisor’s Hallway.
