Baseball: Shen powers past Bethlehem

Seven-run fourth inning gives Plainsmen plenty of breathing room

— Shenendehowa scored four runs in the first inning and seven more in the fourth on its way to a 12-2 Suburban Council baseball victory over visiting Bethlehem Friday.

Justin Yurchak led the Plainsmen's 14-hit attack with two doubles and three RBI. Matt Drum tripled, singled and drove in two runs, and Matt Buckley added two hits and a run batted in.

Nick DiNapoli scored both of Bethlehem's runs, and Eric Mueller chipped in with a double and a single.
