Loudonville native sets meet record in 1,500 for Holy Names

— Shaker also won the 1,600-meter sprint medley relay with a time of 4:18.69. Lansing, Kayleigh Lavender, Hannah Madison and Lauren Mahoney ran the sprint medley relay for the Blue Bison.

Besides the two relay victories, Shaker had several top-six finishes to propel it into second place. Madison Rowland led the way with a third-place finish in the high jump and a fourth-place performance in the 200-meter dash. Danielle McLean took third place in the triple jump, while Shannon Lavender was fourth in the 300 interme-diate hurdles and the 600.

Kayla Catafalmo was fourth in the 100-meter high hurdles and sixth in the triple jump, while Hannah Madison added fifth-place finishes in the 600 and the high jump for Shaker.

Shaker’s 800-meter relay team of Rowland, McLean, Mahoney and Katie Taggart placed third with a time of 1:51.95.

Julia Dyer (fourth place, long jump), Jackie Malecki (fifth, 1,000-meter race) and Amanda Chambers (fifth, 1,500) had top-six performances for Colonie.
