Carducci had 28 saves to keep Mamaroneck close, but it wasn't enough to prevent Shaker/Colonie from getting its first win over the Tigers.
Shaker/Colonie carried the momentum into Saturday's tournament game against Ithaca, but the Little Red (2-0) scored three times in the third period to pull out a 4-2 win over the Jets.
First-period goals by Jason Hildenbrandt and Carter Brock gave Shaker/Colonie a 2-1 lead. But Sunghyun Won and Scott Partington struck early in the third period to put Ithaca in front to stay.
Colin Case and Nate Walker also tallied for the Little Red, and goaltender Aaron Goldberg stopped 10 shots. Dignum had 23 saves for the Jets.
Shaker/Colonie returns to action on Dec. 7 when it visits Section IX's Monroe-Woodbury in a non-league game.
