By your votes, Colonie's Sydnie Rosales eased past Albany's Emia Willingham-Hurst to become your choice for Section II Class AA girls basketball player of the year in last week's poll. Now, we turn our attention to the best boys basketball players in Class AA. Your candidates are:

Jamil Hood Jr. (Green Tech) -- Guided the Eagles to their first Sectional final and averaged 20.2 points per game

Javion Ogunyemi (Troy) -- The Siena College-bound senior center had several big games for the Sectional champion Flying Horses, but none bigger than his 26-point performance against Green Tech in the final

Greig Stire (CBA) -- Helped the Brothers reach the Class AA semifinals and averaged 17 points per game

Conrad Zampier (Columbia) -- The senior guard had six games where he scored 20 or more points, including a school record 43-point night in a December game against Mohonasen
