Lacrosse was your pick as the spring sport you're looking forward to in last week's poll. And as luck would have it, lacrosse is the first sport out of the gate, as its season begins next Thursday with a full slate of Suburban Council games. So, it's as good of a time as any to ask you which Albany County team has the best chance to win the league's girls lacrosse title in 2013. Your candidates are:
Bethlehem -- New head coach Abby Rehfuss is hoping to guide the Lady Eagles back towards the top of the standings.
Colonie -- Gina Riitano takes over a Lady Raider squad focused on leaving the lower half of the standings.
Guilderland -- The defending league champion Lady Dutch must replace several key starters if they want to retain their hold on first place.
Shaker -- The Blue Bison won the Section II Division I title last year, and now they want more.
Voting is open until 11:59 p.m. Sunday, so make your selection today.
