Last week, you picked Shaker as the Albany County team to beat for the Suburban Council girls lacrosse title. This week, we're focusing on the race for the Suburban Council South Division boys lacrosse title. Here are your five candidates:

Bethlehem -- The Eagles are hoping to turn things around after finishing 3-13 last year with a group of talented sophomores and juniors.

Colonie -- The Garnet Raiders also finished last season 3-13, but they feel good about their chances after returning their top scorers and their starting goaltender.

Columbia -- The Blue Devils were a middle-of-the-pack team in 2012, but they have a large group of seniors with varsity experience to carry them into this season.

Guilderland -- The defending division champs return their top four scorers from last year, and the defense will be solid once again.

Shaker -- The Blue Bison possess a veteran-laden squad hungry to unseat Guilderland at the top.

Voting will be open until 11:59 p.m. Sunday, so cast your ballot today.
