During Veterans Day weekend, miSci, the Museum of Innovation and Science, held Super Science Weekend, three days of hands-on demos, workshops, and exhibits. More than 1500 people attended the event and had fun with engineering, robotics, nanotechnology, chemistry, astronomy, physics, environmental and natural science.

MiSci extends a sincere thank you to our sponsors: GE, SI Group, and WMHT, and to our partner presenters: Albany Academy Robotics Team and Audubon New York.

Also, C2 Design Architecture, Empire State Aerosciences Museum, Dudley Observatory, Eureka Girls, Five Rivers, Mr. Sly the Science Guy, Mohonasen High School Robotics Team, Nano-Link, Niskayuna High School Chemistry Demo Club, Niskayuna High School Robotics Team, NY Wildlife Rescue and Pine Bush Discovery Center.

Also, SCCC Science Club, Schenectady County Recycling, Scotia-Glenville Children’s Museum, SI Group, Solar City, UAlbany Robotics, Union College, WMHT.

We are proud of the company we keep and we appreciate your help and hard work. As the region’s science center, we celebrate the culture of collaboration that prevails in STEM education. Finally, we want to thank the many families who came and enjoyed their visit.
