Boys soccer: Shaker rallies past Burnt Hills in opener

Kevin Lindsay's overtime goal lifts Blue Bison

Kevin Lindsay's second goal of the game gave the Shaker boys soccer team a 2-1 overtime victory over Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake in Tuesday's Suburban Council opener.

The Spartans grabbed a 1-0 lead on Ian Speck's goal five minutes into the second half, but Lindsay scored off a feed from Josh Catrine to tie the game at 1-1. Lindsay then tallied the game winner off an assist by Carter Haydock seven minutes into the first overtime period.

Goaltender Tommy Macutek made several saves for Shaker, including a key stop on a Burnt Hills breakaway.
