Letter: Park gives thanks to local businesses

Editor, The Spotlight:

In 1973 the Elm Avenue Park Pool opened to residents of the Town of Bethlehem and has been creating great summer memories ever since. This summer we celebrated the pool’s 40th anniversary by organizing many new events and activities. Thank you to all who visited the pool this summer and participated. We hope your summer at the “Town Park Pool” was another memorable one.

We especially want to thank all the local Bethlehem businesses who donated prizes for our first ever fund raiser, the Duck Pluck. Thanks to their generous prize donations we were able to raise close to $900. Proceeds from the Duck Pluck will help us purchase a new set of accessible stairs for the pool. Thank you to the following Bethlehem businesses:

Angela’s Pizza & Pasta, Chili’s, Choices, Del Lanes, Delmar Market Place, Gold Coin Restaurant, I Love Books, Jack’s Nail Spa, Joyelle’s Jewelers, Mangia Neighborhood Bistro, Mercato’s Pizzeria & Restaurant, Murray’s Pizza, My Place & Co. Restaurant, Paper Mill, Price Chopper, Romo’s Pizza, ShopRite, Steiner’s Sports, Stewarts, Swifty’s Restaurant & Pub, Tea House Asian Bistro, Wine & Spirits of Slingerlands
