Now is the time to ask the employees of the Highway Department and the staff in Town Hall who have worked with Howard Hyer for 21 years who they believe is best prepared to be our next highway superintendent. The majority of those who voted in the referendum wanted to prevent politicians from appointing someone based on party politics. The majority also felt that it was important to preserve everyone’s right to vote for this office. Now it’s time for the voter to get the facts, determine the best candidate, and exercise this right to vote.
