— “When Dylan hit three threes early on, they started to target him (defensively),” said Burch. “That led to other guys getting open.”

Catskill – which entered Friday's quarterfinal on a 10-game winning streak – made a couple of bids to get back in the game in the second half, but someone from Voorheesville was always ready to stop the Cats' momentum. Parry did so in the third quarter by scoring eight of his 13 points, and Hotaling added nine points in the fourth quarter to keep the Blackbirds comfortably in front.

James Miller had 21 points for Catskill before fouling out in the fourth quarter, and Derrick Heath added 12 points.
