If you are looking for a school for your child, you are invited to visit one of the scheduled open house dates (Saturday, Feb. 1, from 1 to 3 p.m. or Tuesday, March 18, from 6 to 8 p.m.). Nestled in a quiet neighborhood community on the outskirts of Albany, Mater Christi School, previously known as St. Catherine of Siena School, has been providing an outstanding education to children ages three years through grade eight since 1954. The Mater Christi school day runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. An early drop-off option is available beginning at 7 a.m., and an extended day program runs until 5:30 p.m. Several afterschool enrichment programs are offered, including drama club, tennis, dance, Lego-Robotics, piano and instrument lessons.
