Indoor track: Shaker boys place third at Suburban Council meet

— Kelly also scored a pair of top-six finishes for the Lady Raiders. She was second in the 300-meter dash with a time of 43.03 seconds, and she was sixth in the 55-meter dash finals with a time of 7.67 seconds. Marisa Sholtes added a fourth-place finish in the high jump when she cleared the bar at 4 feet, 10 inches.

Shannon Lavender led Shaker with a second-place performance in the 600-meter dash in a time of 1:41.03. Abigail Addo was third in the shot put with a throw of 34 feet, 11.75 inches, and Bethia Nivens finished fourth in the 300-meter dash with a time of 43.83 seconds.

Podlaski scores in race walk

In other indoor track news, Colonie's Meaghan Podlaski placed third in the 1,500-meter race walk invitational at Saturday's New Balance Games at the New York City Armory. Podlaski finished with a time of 7:28.50.

Kara Snyder finished fifth in the girls pole vault after clearing the bar at 11 feet, and the Colonie 3,200-meter relay team took sixth place with a time of 9:40.24 at the New Balance Games.
