What are you listening to these days?

Simon and Garfunkel we are into again. We listen a lot to whatever Will Vail, a volunteer here and local muscician, is listening to. He’s very talented.

Reading?

“The Confessions of a Slightly Neurotic Hitwoman” by J.B. Lynn. It’s one of those 99 cent books on Kindle. It’s amusing. She has a pet lizard that talks back to her, but only she can hear. I’ve enjoyed it and didn’t think I would. It’s what you call light reading.

Watching on TV?

“Blacklist” with James Spader. I think he is a wonderful actor and just found out he is visually impaired and needs glasses and memorizes his lines because of his characters.

What was the last movie you saw?

“The Proposal” with Sandra Bullock. Watched it on TV. Had seen it before.

Describe your dream vacation.

On the beach in Hilton Head, S.C. It’s near Charleston and Savannah. I need a few weeks to finish my hitwoman book.

What are some of your hobbies?

I like to quilt, but I don’t have enough time. My husband would say I like to buy the fabric and then look at it. I make a quilt for each grandchild and my husband makes them a hope chest.

Who is the one person (dead or alive) that you would most like to meet?

I always talk about if I could invite anyone I wanted to for dinner I would say Alan Alda, Tom Hanks, or Bill Clinton. I would like to know about their life. I respect them.

What is your favorite local moment?

My favorite connection to Bethlehem is the community Christmas day dinner. It serves people who are either released from the hospital or don’t have someone to have dinner with. I’m happy to be a part of it and it’s my good fortune. It’s a wonderful event.
