The Schenectady County Department of Social Services will hold their annual Tree Lighting Celebration on Wendsday, Nov. 18, at 4 p.m. at the Schenectady County Office Building at 620 State St. in recognition of National Adoption Month.
November is National Adoption month and the tree lighting is a celebration and recognition of families who have adopted children in the past year. The celebration is a collaborative effort between the Schenectady county Office of Children and Family Services and the Schenectady County Family Court.
