Jeffrey Haggart, 17, of Glen Terrance, Glenville and Robert H. Ward, 17 of St. Stephens Lane East, Glenville were arrested by Glenville Police on Tuesday, Nov. 24, on three felony charges of criminal mischief and two misdemeanors of criminal mischief, between the two suspects, in relation to damage done to the Burnt Hills Ballston Lake School Administration Building and a school bus on Monday, Aug.31, 2009, according to police reports.

The two suspects are accused of causing damage to the building and bus by using BB guns to shoot out windows, street lamps, and one vehicle. Damage estimates exceed $9,000 according to the report.

Both suspects were arrested by Detective William Marchewka after neighborhood interviews led to their identity. The investigation revealed that the suspects damaged several homes in their East Glenville community as well as the school administration building, according to police reports.

Haggart and Ward were joined by a third suspect whose name was withheld due to his age and will face charges in Schenectady Family Court.

"We always ask our residents to call if they see any suspicious activities ," said Marchewka who also stated that any tips to the police department will be kept anonymous.

Haggart and Ward were processed and released on appearance tickets, according to police reports, and will re-appear in Glenville Town Court on Thursday, Dec. 3 at 5:30 p.m.
