Zachary Dymond, a senior at SUNY Oneonta, gives blood at a Red Cross sponsored blood drive on Wednesday, Dec. 30 at Dunkin Donuts on Wolf Road in Colonie. Dymond is a cancer survivor who said he donates because he knows he could help save lives with his blood. The blood drive is cosponsored by Dunkin Donuts, and is part of a campaign to raise blood during traditionally slow winter months. If you donate a pint of blood to the Red Cross through January, you will receive a free pound of coffee.
